In August 2012 I skipped out of the garden variety easy-life-half-lived in Australia to come to the Monte Amiata region in Southern Tuscany and haven’t looked back…much 😉
The northern hemisphere winter is a whole other world of brrrrrr for this antipodean, as is the Australian licence in Italy fiasco, and the Bureaucracy of Getting Anything Done…
But who grows well in soft soil, huh?

I aim to post my creations – of the artistic, culinary and non ferrous metal kinds -alongside profiling the work of other jewellery makers, artists, printmakers, designers, and other such creative folk in particular from this area of Tuscany, and beyond, each Thursday in Lives Creative.

Want to get in touch? Use the form below; I’d love to hear from you, especially if you’re not a robot and/or selling me SEO.

I love your blog Kitty Katmandoo – and your art too! Am intrigued by your blog name though …. we have a cat which my young son named Tiger Lily Kit Kat (Kt Kat for short), so it makes me smile when I see your blog!

Hi Julie Funny you should say that, as the name came about through calling the cats by their spontaneous nicknames (they probably own about 9 each, one for each of their lives). Kittybing, Dingkitty, Blingning, Fingerdish, Tettenman…Katmanikin. It evolved from there. Weird way of coming up with a business name, I know 😉
